Kayaking Peche Island

And while you're on Peche Island, be sure to check out the ruins of the Hiram Walker estate.  Hiram Walker's sons (of distillery fame) acquired the property in 1883. Some claim the property was unlawfully taken from the previous island owners, the Laforet family, and as a result, the island was cursed!**
