Alaska Kayak School Details

Member Details

We live in Homer because we love to paddle and teach paddling at all times of the year. From early spring to late fall, local peninsula rivers provide great river paddling, and Cook Inlet and Kachemak Bay offer diverse sea paddling all year - in all but the most inclement weather.

The Alaska Kayak School offers paddling instruction and coaching in sea kayak, whitewater kayak, surf kayak, open canoe and safety and rescue skills for Alaskan conditions. Certified instructors of the American Canoe Association and coaches trained by the British Canoe Union teach our courses and guide our instructional tours.
